The Care of Trees has worked with the Friends of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve at its Rockwood Hall location. Since 2005, TCOT has carried out many land restoration activities including the removal of invasive vines (five-leaf Akebia), ridding the land of invasive tree species, and removing many fallen trees at the original house and foundation. This has opened up views of natural rock formations and has reclaimed lost vistas of the Hudson River.
