The Philip Johnson Glass House - New Canaan, CT Community

The Care of Trees worked with Philip Johnson and his partner David Whitney to bring their vision to life. Over a 10 year period, trees were removed at the direction of Mr. Johnson and Mr. Whitney. The focus of the work was in a wooded view from the Glasshouse. Manipulation of light was the main focus. Creating alleys of light and backdrops of light within the woods. A panoramic view into the woods set below the Glasshouse was the result.
