Bob Mullane scholarship recipients

Mullane, for whom the scholarship is named, was a 1963 UMASS graduate and a pioneer in the arboriculture field. The endowment was created in 1992 by The Care of Trees to memorialize Bob’s contributions to the field of urban forestry and preserve his legacy of civic service. The scholarships are awarded each year in conjunction with the Massachusetts Tree Warden’s conference held in February. The scholarship is open to students in the university’s Arboriculture and Community forestry program.
