The Care of Trees will be sponsoring a special live broadcast of the Mike Nowak Show in Chicago’s beautiful Millennium Park on Sunday, July 18 from 8 to 10 a.m., for the kick-off of the 2010 STIHL Tour des Trees.

A cross-country cycling tour now in its 19th year, the Tour des Trees has become the signature fundraising event of the TREE Fund, and America’s largest fundraising event for tree research and education.

Highlights of the show will include:

Chuck Leavell, conservationist, Tree Farmer, and legendary keyboardist for the Rolling Stones
Suzanne Malec-McKenna, Commissioner of the City of Chicago Department of the Environment
Ask an Arborist questions and answers with tree experts from The Davey Tree Expert Company and The Care of Trees
